Cherry Blossom Season In NYC

New Yorkers know that spring is truly back in the city when the cherry trees are in bloom. Parks instantly fill with people who want to see Sakura, take a sneak peek, and be the first ones to share the news.

There is no need to travel across the city to find cherry trees blossoming; instead, see the top five spots in NYC to visit throughout all five boroughs and get the best experience!

Brooklyn Botanic Garden (Brooklyn)
My favorite place to visit and see the soft pink tones of the blossoms is the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Being there always brings me peace of mind and happiness. It is especially beautiful during the spring, when every tree and flower is in bloom, and the air is warm and sweet. Spend a day with your loved ones walking through the alley of the delicate trees and listening to the birds sing.

Central Park (Manhattan)
What could be better than a walk through the paths and alleys of Central Park? Only a walk during the cherry blooming season. Having a picnic in the fresh air under a cloud of pink petals, biking through the park and enjoying the coming of spring, or just walking with a steamy cup of coffee - Central Park is perfect for all of that!

Flushing Meadows Corona Park (Queens)
One of the biggest parks in New York City and probably the best place to see cherry blossoms is Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. Walk through the paths and appreciate this magical Sakura season.

Pelham Bay Park (Bronx)

The best way to spend a warm spring day is to take a nice walk in a park. If you live in the Bronx, Pelham Bay Park is the way to go! Enjoy the sun, good food, and, of course, the beauty of the colorful bunches of cherry flowers.

Silver Lake Park (Staten Island)

There is nothing more delightful than a lake, surrounded by blooming trees. Visit Silver Lake Park in Staten Island for a romantic and beautiful walk around the water and get inspired by the views.

The best time to see cherry blossoms is in late March to early April. Don’t miss out on the opportunity and spend a weekend enjoying the beauty and delicacy of the true spring cherry tree flowers.
