Harry Potter Exhibition in New York - The Wizarding World takes over the Big Apple

As a huge Harry Potter fan, I was extremely excited when I found out that there was going to be a Harry Potter exhibition in NYC. It took me a while to get there, but last weekend I was finally able to visit.

The exhibition shows some of the most iconic characters and settings from the Harry Potter universe including Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. Everything is very well-designed, and the technology used is great, so you get a full dive into the wizard world.

What I enjoyed the most, is that the experience is personalized. You can choose a Hogwarts house and a wand for yourself, which was definitely one of the coolest parts because hey, who doesn’t want to play in a Harry Potter movie?

You can also put yourself into Harry’s shoes and get into that little room under the stairs Harry lived in or play Quidditch and see how good you are.

For those who really enjoyed the movies and want to get a glimpse of the behind the scenes, the exhibition has some of the original costumes and items that were used in the movies.

Oh and of course make sure you see the Hungarian Horntail, a dragon Harry had to face during his first task in the Triwizard Tournament.

Overall, the exhibition turned out to be an amazing experience! It was so much fun, and the great graphics and designs filled my heart with joy.

The organizers offer an audio guide, so in case you forgot some of the scenes from Harry Potter, you don’t have to rewatch all the movies or reread the books. And if you wanta memory from the exhibition, there are plenty of Harry Potter-themed souvenirs like t-shirts, mugs, and caps.

And if you are wondering if the exhibition is good for kids, let me tell you this: it is good for everyone! Kids will be excited to see all the magical creatures and the interactive parts, and parents can get nostalgic looking at the favorite characters they grew up with.
